A quand une version française ?
Makes Twitter much more accessible and useful. I have it open most of the day. Would give it 5 stars if it could speed up a little - I have about 100 columns, which can be a little slow to load sometimes and quite difficult to rearrange. Though latest version seems a little faster maybe on search. Great application - a core app for your mac - definitely in my top ten most used apps.
This version is horrible, there are no notifications when a new tweet is received, the TT column doesnt work and to write a new tweet, you cant just write and press enter to publish it, you need to open a pop-up, write and press a button. Not as practical as the older version.
This is a very practical app to follow and manage your twitter accounts! I have one question/comment about the Mac version: is it possible to automatically clear the notifications from the Notification Center when we switch to TwitDeck window? Otherwise even after Ive read the twit, I still need to open Notification Center and manually clear the notification. This is annoying. Skype app does that, and its neat. :) Cheers!
not as good as the old version but it still a better experience than using the vanilla twitter app. i wish it was a native app.
It was the best app for twitter, but now it’s almost the worst! What happened? Sometimes I just can’t even log in… I write a tweet and guess what?! I can’t send it, because of a “unknown error”. I still hope it gets better, like it used to be months ago.
Tweetdeck used to work smoothly in my computer and I knew if I update I would find problems. So I avoided the update. But accidently had my mac to update the system and Tweetdeck updated automatically (my mistake). And now it won’t even open, which is a pity because Tweetdeck for Mac was the best twitter app. Now have to find a new one and those are so rare for Mac. Really upsetting.
- cant resolve twitter accounts, Im following during writing - cant search for twitter accounts in a useful way
Could you make the pictures open up in the application and not in the browser just like in the original small twitter app? Other than that, looks great.
So I just updated tweetdeck and it was the most idiotic thing to do. Now nothing is working anymore, I can´t send a singel tweet and the application FREEZES. I actually loved this application but now it´s just screwed up. Np thank you I did not need that. Seems like I have to get something else now. Thank you for ruining my favorite application. Way to go!
nothing else to say, just FIX THIS BUG!
A good step in the right direction, but could use a lot of work to make truly useable and reliable.
I was very happy to obtain a native OS X Tweetdeck app with no Adobe AIR. This app definitely is not a system resource hog, like the old TweetDeck was. Im also glad to get the columns view back. Thats really where the positive ends. Otherwise, this reivew is mostly negative - no keyboard shortcuts to enter a tweet, no Twitter search, cant view photos in-line (launches a browser), and lots of other missing features. Clearly this is a beta release, and they should have labelled it as such. I downloaded the first version thinking that better things would be coming, but Ive been waiting and still nothing.
While the Twitter integration seems to work ok, the Facebook integration is spotty at best. Yes, it successfully posts on my Facebook, but I have to load FB in Safari to see all the updates from everyone else. So if the websites are better (both FB and Twitter), why would I use this? If I could find a decent Twitter app for Mac, Id be thrilled. MenuTab Pro for Facebook does a decent job for Facebook, but TweetDeck just blows. Just glad I didnt have to pay for it.
The popup notification doesnt pop up. Fix please
Update really makes a difference. Thank you Twitter!
The original version before Twitter bought them was much better. The notifications dont work and you can only view a few posts at a time. Want to be able to scroll back and forth easier.
Whyd you remove the LinkedIn accounts and what happened to the collapse-down-to-single column feed? Im going back to the 0.x release.
Previous version 0.38.1 is MUCH more user friendly, with more functionability. I actually uninstalled this new version from both my Macs and reinstalled the old Yellow avatar version. It feels like Twitter (who bought Tweetdeck) doesnt want us using 3rd party apps so theyll force you to tweet from their website. If you have additional twitter accounts, a linkedin or facebook that you update statuses on, you might be disappointed with this version.
