Why doesnt this take over the preveous version?

Although supported by twitter, I think its supposed to take over some supported accounts that the previous version could connect. "LinkedIn" is one of them.
I would be happier to use it if more accounts, such as LinkedIn and Google+ ect, were available on this TweetDeck as well.
